CFM - Christian Family Movement
Families Growing Together
(As seen on STLM's site www.stlmcfm.org)

The Christian Family Movement (CFM) is a national organization of families growing together, helping each other renew Christian family values. CFM has touched the lives of many of our parishioners over the years, fostering life-long friendships and mutual support.

We have separate groups for first year members and returning members. One couple serves as the group's leader to facilitate meetings and schedules. Groups are formed in September and meet through June.

Small Group Meetings for Parents

The core of CFM is the group meetings of the adult members - 10 to 15 families. These informal meetings are usually on Friday evenings about every three to four weeks.

Large Group Events for the Family

Part of what makes our CFM Chapter so unique is our large-group family events, held about five times a year. Events include: Thanksgiving Feast, Ice Skating, Family Movie & Pajama Party, Adult Dinner Dance, Family Fun Day and Wilderness Park Day, Outdoor Mass, Cookout and optional overnight camping. These are great experiences for the whole family and gives a sense of belonging to an extended family.

Christian Service Outreach

Our groups provide an opportunity for Christian Outreach. We make sandwiches for the homeless and help fill the Parish Pantry. Each group adopts an inner city family and provides Christmas items for the entire family.

CFM - A Place for Your Family To Belong

We invite families (with or without children) to check us out. Our season starts in August/September every year, but contact us any time.
