Activities for both day campers & overnight campers - all CFMers are welcome!
2:00 - 5:00 PM Check-in, camp set-up
3:30 - 4:00 PM Children's nature activities
5:30 - 6:30 PM Mass at the Amphitheater
6:30 - 8:00 PM Chili-Cookoff & Weenie-roast dinner at Sycamore & Gumwood Camps
8:00 - 9:00 PM Campfire at the Amphitheater: Sing-along, awards, & marshmallow roast
(Hot chocolate, marshmallows & sticks will be provided by CFM)
7:00 - 9:00 AM (Sun) Breakfast will be provided by CFM
9:00 - 11:00 AM Pack-up, Clean-up, Move-out
To bring: Each CFM Group/Family please bring the following:
Ø Per Group - The winner of your groups Chili cook-off should bring a pot of their award winning chili
Ø Per Group - Cornbread to serve with the chili
Ø Per Family - Bring a Dessert: if your last name starts with letters A thru L
Ø Per Family - Bring an Appetizer (please no Chips or Pretzels): if your last name starts with letters M thru Z
Ø Per Family - Provide drinks for your own family
Ø Outreach program: Please bring a Pantry item for our outreach program
(Hot dogs, buns & condiments will be provided by CFM)
There is a $5.00 per family fee for this event. Please give this to your CFM Leader prior to the event
Overnight Camping:
Join us for overnight camping: Reservations are necessary and available through your group leader.
Reserve early, space may be limited - first-come, first-served basis.
CFM will host a breakfast of donuts, cereal boxes (for kids), juice, milk and coffee on Sunday morning.
Campers Checklist:
- Flashlight for each child (day campers too) - Drinks and extra snacks
- Tent - Insect repellant
- Sleeping bag - Hay fever medication
- Extra clothing, shoes and socks - Camp chair
The park will be closed to the general public and the gate will be locked from 4:00 PM until 10:00 AM, with access for CFM members only. Alcohol is prohibited in the park.
