Hello to all. 
Here are 2 reminders we want to be aware of.

1) Msgr. Lenihan Retirement & Town Hall meeting

As many of you know, from last week’s Sunday bulletin

our beloved Fr. Lenihan has decided it is time to retire. He is planning to do so as of June 30th 2002. 

Fr. Lenihan plans to still be “on property” and the Archdiocese is now searching for someone to fill his shoes. WOW! – What a task! After 20+ years of service here at St. Lawrence who can possibly replace our Chief Shepard?

Here is where YOU come in … 

Q? - What key qualities and strengths do YOU want in our new priest?

On Monday Evening January 28th at 7:00 PM in the Hall, we will have a "Town Hall" parish meeting. This meeting will be presided over by two priest members of the PERSONNEL BOARD for the Archdiocese. It is this Board who interviews possible pastors and who makes the final recommendation to the Archbishop, who makes the final decision.

At the meeting on the 28th, all present will have the opportunity to make recommendations regarding the new pastor and as to what will be expected of him. 

Fr. Lenihan has certainly lived up to his policy "TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE AND DO IT WITH CLASS." Now we all need to pray for The Archdiocese personnel board and our Archbishop who will be selecting our new pastor.

Try to make it to the Monday night meeting as a showing to the Archdiocese of the involvement, care and concern we all have.

2) CFM Feb 9th Progressive Dinner “Sweetheart Dance” 

This is a Reminder … Don’t miss this event … Reservations Required 
(Open To All – Not Just CFM)

Saturday, February 9, 2002 @ STLM’s Hall
6:30 - Cocktails
7:00 - Dinner - Catered, Sit Down, 4-Course Dinner

8:00 - Dancing - Dance the night away with the 
                   Live Musical Styling of a Terrific Local Band
8:30 - Professional Dance Lessons - (Included) 
                   Fine tune your "Moves" or learn a few new ones. 

Get your Baby-Sitter; Find a Date (or Come Alone!)

Price (after Friday Jan 25) $45.00 per person.
Contact your CFM group leaders ASAP if you‘d like to attend.

Details:
Each Couple (or person if individual) will be randomly assigned a different table for each of the 4-courses. At each table (& course) you will meet new people & visit with your friends. Then you can dance into the evening with your sweetheart(s)!
